Fauna Sanctuary
is Queensland's most natural wildlife

boardwalk to view animals in their natural

rainforest aviary, spectacular crocodile
feeding (summer only). Free wildlife

- Olson's
Bird Sanctuary gardens feature exotic pheasants, parrots
and finches in large landscaped aviaries. Set in rain forest amid
creek walks, the botanic gardens have one of Queenslands' best
private collections of Australian and overseas birds. Also features
a Lilly Pilly Maze and magnificent Rose Garden.
World
Heritage and National Parks
- Lamington
National Park
is one of Australia's most spectacular Tropical National Parks.
There are dozens of tracks to walk and several water falls to
discover. You'll see birds, frogs, mammals and assorted flora
in their natural habitat.
- O'Reilly's
has over 160km of walking tracks varying in degree of difficulty
in the National Park. These range from full day walks to several
short walks that will lead walkers to a spectacular waterfall,
a stunning lookout or right through the centre of a giant brush
box, known only as the wishing tree.
- Mount
Warning the towering, cone-shaped
peak and its two 'shoulders' have become
the trademark of the Tweed from every
point in the valley and beyond, the
mountain dominates the landscape. Superb
rainforest from Breakfast Creek the
main walking track ascends through superb
rainforest with strategic rest spots
giving a variety of scenic views of
the surrounding valley. The reward on
reaching the summit, (1157m), is a 360
degree panorama of the enormous eroded
bowl of the volcanic caldera landform
an rim.

sophisticated arcade shopping experience on Queensland's Gold
Coast. Offering over 270 retail stores and services, including
